Sydney’s Darling Harbour was a hazy sea of smoke this afternoon after a food cart caught alight and became engulfed in flames.
Emergency crews were called to the site, outside the International Exhibition and Convention Centre (ICC), just before midday.
Huge plumes of smoke were seen billowing from the cart as stunned onlookers watched.
Both firefighters and police were sent to the area.
It’s understood the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
The fire broke out during Sydney’s Vivid celebrations, which has seen people from across the country and internationally flock to the city.
